Raymond Chee
Raymond Chee is a Navajo artist who moves between the Navajo, Hopi and white world with ease. He carves using traditional Hopi knife-carved cottonwood root methods. He sometimes carves Hopi katsinam and Navajo subject matter. He and his brother, Duwayne and his nephew, Duwayne Jr., have begun to focus more on the Navajo cultural history in their carvings.
