Here’s a sneak peek at the behind the scenes preparations to transport several masterworks to The Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, for the “Sons of Charlie Russell: The Cowboy Artists of America” exhibition, May 27th through September 5, 2022. The exhibition will include 70 works of art encompassing paintings, sculpture, and works on paper, dating from 1890 to the present-day from 40 artists. The EBC is honored to participate as one of the group of 17 lenders along with works drawn from the Briscoe’s permanent collection, making the exhibition the first, and only, time these works will be viewed together.
