(1930-2014)

Originally from Alton, Illinois, June Doerr attended nursing school at Missouri Baptist in St. Louis.  When she and her family relocated from Missouri to Texas in 1963, June chose to pursue her interests in the arts and later received much acclaim and won numerous awards for her work.  Her vitality and interests also included living in various parts of the country including Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and eventually took her back to Texas.  Her work can be found in numerous galleries, museums, private collections, churches as well as public areas.
