Born in East Chicago, Indiana, Thomas W. Lorimer attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago and the ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles. In 1979, he relocated to Sedona, Arizona, where he resided and worked for 36 years as a professional fine artist.
In this depiction three Indians appear to meander through the tall aspens and snow in search of game. As the day progresses with few sightings, the energy level appears restrained but constant observation is a necessity.
