Romanian born artist Jacob Pfeiffer’s early years were wrought with hardship during and following WWII. Regardless of those circumstances, a young Jacob inspired by nature, reading, and his own imagination began honing his talents. At the age of 19, he and his parents immigrated to Cincinnati where he was able to earnestly pursue his art studies. Primarily an oil painter, his subjects range from the American historical to wildlife, still life, landscapes, and images of regional experiences.
A signature member of the Oil Painters of America and American Impressionist Society, Inc., Pfeiffer has also exhibited in the Great American Artists National Show in Cincinnati, Quest for the West at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis, Indiana, National Collectors Society shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Milwaukee as well as numerous others. His work can be found in private collections and museums internationally.
